Michele Martinez is a city councilwoman for the city of Santa Ana.  She is the current candidate for the Orange County Board of Supervisors.  She was recently elected as President of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) and is an alumni of California State University, Fullerton.

Marilee Scaff is a  Claremont activist.  She is the daughter of a suffragette and was born before some women were granted the right to vote.  She is the past president of the League of Women Voters.
